A Little About Me

This is my professional site, but if you really want to know a bit about my own story, here are a few highlights:

  • My maternal grandparents came to this country from Latin America and never mastered English.

  • I spent part of my childhood on a 100-acre family farm.

  • I was born in the Midwest, was raised in Menlo Park, California, spent part of my adolescence in Malaysia, and began my career in London.

  • I studied Arabic, Japanese, and Marxist theory in college (the third subject comes in handy).

  • I live in California with my wife Abby and our dog, a Havanese named Hugo. Somehow we managed to raise two well-adjusted kids in Los Angeles.

  • I’ve seen Role Models far too many times.
